Trip to RAF Museum

Yr6 went to the RAF Museum [Royal Air Force Museum] Everyone thoroughly enjoyed seeing all of the giant war planes and helicopters, I found it very interesting.

My favourite plane was the Lancaster Bomber : It carried a bomb that was designed to skim across the large dam in Germany. I also found the Kurtis Kittyhawk fascinating with its aero dynamic structure and the shark mouth painted on the plane`s nose.

There were also many simulators in the museum, which let you feel as if you are in a plane in the air. There was one simulator where you could go inside one of the planes and steer it.

 Overall I think everyone learnt a lot about the WW2 air raids.  It made me think I didn't want to be in a shelter for that long during an air raid because you might get a dead leg. Also the noise would be terrible, aside from the fact your town is being demolished by bombs.

Trip to St. Paul's Cathedral

On 20TH January we went to St. Paul's Cathedral to celebrate the anniversary of 3 different schools, Lady Margret's secondary school who had reached a point were they were 100 years old, Archdeacon Cambridge primary school who we celebrated their 175th year of age with. We had an excellent history of Ashford primary school who are turning 200 and how a man donated lots of money to a charity when he died. The school was founded as the only school in Ashford and now since the start of OFSTED got rated as good, the schools best ever result. 

We had excellent songs to sing: the best, I think was 'Oh Come Let Us Adore Him'.  I am sure the other people on the trip would agree. A piece of information about each of the schools was shared and we said goodbye to the Bishop of London and heard a special sermon chosen by him.

 Finally we had a relaxing journey home and it was the end of a great day in total we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Clubs

We normally start new clubs every term.

 On Monday we do chess, football (boys), and juggling.

On Tuesday we do Netball and Football (boys).

On Wednesday we do chess and Multisports.

On Thursday we do running, make it, and football (girls).

On Friday we do dig it, football and singing and speaking.

That’s all the clubs we do in our school. As you may see if you were already are in this school you can see the dates have changed.

This year, Quality Street took out my favourite flavour, the Toffee Deluxe which I am very upset by.

 They replaced the Toffee Deluxe with a horrible Honeycomb Chocolate [the Crunchy Bar wanna be].

The reason Quality Street did this, is because apparently there were ‘too many toffee related chocolates’ Ridiculous right!

 When the bloggers read this they said ‘I agree!’. Above all I am distraught.

 

LET’S BUY THERAPEUTIC PUTTY

Hello humans of the world, this article is not the usual type. I am writing to you to persuade you that buying therapeutic putty will make a big difference in your life. Putty is often used in schools for people [like mwa] who benefit from having something to fidget with.

It comes in many different colours and sizes and is available at Cachao in Primrose Hill. When you have purchased your precious putty you will certainly be pleased with it and I am almost definetly sure you won’t be able to stop;

The Girls Football League Continues

The girls football league has continued and we are through to the finals after winning all of our matches and keeping our position of first place on the leaderboard.

On Tuesday the 17^th we played Emmanuel primary school and beat them by 7-1.  Straight after that match we played a game against St Mary’s and won by 4-1.

 

So after a successful day we were rewarded with a ticket through to the finals!!! J
